Hello to everyone after a long but mild winter! Our market garden is growing well in this warm and wet spring! It has been an exciting year for us as we have been blessed with the addition of our Grandson Jacob to the farm. He was born on Sept. 8, 2011 and is growing like a weed! Also, our son Mason graduated from Cornell University last May with a degree in Plant Science, and has moved back to Delaware. He is currently doing research at the University of Maryland at their Salisbury location. Yes, the nest is definitely not getting any emptier but it is nice having them all here! Be sure and visit us often at the Milford Farmer's Market this summer and fall...It's every Saturday from 9-1. If you click on "In Season this week" over there on the left side of the page you can keep up with what we have ready! I have been enjoying the first arugula and french breakfast radishes all week! A little splash of Black Raspberry vinegar, and heaven on earth is achieved! Have you ever sauteed arugula? Try it...it changes the whole taste from the bitey raw flavor to a nice sweet flavor! Yum!
